What are Hot Trays?

If your food display counter is starting to look a bit run down due to general wear and tear, you may feel the need to replace your entire self-service counter and this could become costly. But, with our Hot Trays, you can save yourself the time, effort and money, significantly improve the appearance of your food display and eliminate the need to replace your entire cook and serve counter.

Hot Trays are colourful, striking display trays made for solid top counters. The best thing about our Hot Trays is that they simply drop into a Bain Marie well, to instantly create a colourful, eye-catching platform for any food display.

Our innovative absorb the ambient temperature, whether that’s hot or cold and all Hot Trays come with non-slip mats.

Additionally, our stylish Electric Hot Tops can also be used to transform the appearance of your food display. All you need to do is plug in your Hot Top and you’ll be ready to display and serve your hot food on a platform that’s guaranteed to stand out.

Versatile Hot Tiles

Our Hot Tiles are available in a variety of different materials, sizes (GN1/1, GN4/3, GN1/2 and now GN1/3) and 12 colours including hard-wearing ceramic, slate, thermally toughened glass, so you’re bound to find one that suits your servery counter.

The unique Batik wood Tile is also available as a tray for a solid top counter, to add something different to your food display. The Batik wood tile comes with a high heat silicone mat to prevent it from moving around.

All our Hot Tiles are slim-line, backed with 18-gauge stainless steel with six rounded feet on the base to keep them in position.

Carvery Option

Serve a carvery? We provide spiked Hot Tiles and Hot Trays with an aesthetically pleasing mosaic border to simply sit on top of a counter and upsell your carvery offer.

The Carvery Hot Trays are for solid top counters and the Carvery Hot Tiles are for bain marie open well counters. They work by absorbing the ambient temperature and joints displayed directly on the surface.

Electric Hot Tops

With our Electric Hot Tops, all you need to do is simply plug these elegant units into a 13 amp socket, leave for a few minutes to heat up and they are ready to use.

Our black glass Hot Tops are ideal for displaying food in dishes or platters and is great for buffets, banquets, hospitality boxes and bars.

Our Electric Glass Hot Top is a robust GN1/1 warmer designed to keep food warm with a surface temperature of around 90°C to hold food at around 70°C. This unit is fitted with a mat type element which provides a very even heat distribution across the surface and ensures no hot or cold spots to keep food displayed in prime condition.

The Glass Warming Top range of warmers come in 3 sizes, 600mm x 400m, 800mm x 400mm and 400mm x 400mm providing you with flexibility, depending on the size of the function. They are all fitted with an adjustable thermostat. The Hot Tops are light to transport and easy to set up and clean making them ideal for events on the move or more permanent buffets.
